Rights require effective rules
PAI advocates consistent recognition of animals as sentient beings in political and legal decisions. Reform may be needed in animal keeping, transport, slaughter, public funding, enforcement, sanctions and the conditions applying to shelters and sanctuaries.
Our approach
We assess problems professionally, define verifiable objectives and clearly distinguish demands, ongoing processes and confirmed outcomes. Campaigns, statements and petitions should be accessible, source-based and concrete for decision-makers.
Current status and next steps
PAI is still building its organisational structures. Reform topics are only presented as active initiatives once responsibilities, sources and realistic next steps have been prepared. Published initiatives then remain traceable through updates and documented outcomes.
